1 Semester: 15 weeks (15 lessons)

Semester One*
(Year 2016)
(Start after Chinese New Year) 

(Saturdays) Feb 20, 27, Mar 5, 19, 26, Apr 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14, 28, June 25 and July 9 in the Year 2016. 

Semester Two*
(Year 2016)

(Saturdays) July 16, 23, 30, Aug 6, 13, 20, 27, Sep 3, 17, 24, Oct 8, 15, 22, Nov 12, 26 in the Year 2016. 

*A parent is to be present in the classroom during the last 15 minutes of the class. 
*Class will only be replaced due to Centre's event, educator's unavailability and inclement weather.

Your child will learn to sing, play glockenspiel, dulcimer and recorder to develop the foundation for learning to sing, play keyboard instrument, string instrument and woodwind instrument.

What A Parent** And Child Will Experience In Class:
• Singing and vocal development
• Movement to music (develop musicianship & physical coordination)
• Reading and writing (melodic notation, identify pitches, compose own music) • Focused listening for instruments & composers’ musical pieces • Exploring and playing musical instruments (Authentic percussion, string, pre-keyboard, and woodwind instruments)
**A parent will be required to enter the classroom at the final 15 minutes of each lesson.
